📍 Project Summary
The Drains24 team attended site following reported drainage issues. Upon excavation and investigation, a cracked Buchan trap was discovered at depth. This required removal and replacement to restore full drainage functionality and provide the customer with future access for maintenance.
🔧 Scope of Work
- Excavation & Investigation
- Carefully excavated to expose the drainage line and inspect the fault.
- Found a cracked Buchan trap, which was contributing to restricted flow and potential structural compromise.
- Pipework Installation
- Removed the damaged trap.
- Supplied and installed new 150mm uPVC pipework to restore the drainage flow and meet current specifications.
- New Manhole Construction
- Built a 3-ring concrete manhole chamber to provide future access to the pipe run.
- Fitted with a robust cover and frame at ground level for ease of inspection and jetting access.
